Betty Jo and family. I was so saddened to see of your moms passing. I considered her a good friend and had a great deal of respect for both of your parents. Mom always spoke of your mother with a great deal of love and respect. They were truly great friends. I will miss them both the rest of my life. May God Bless you in your time of sorrow. I am so sorry that I was out of town at the time of your Mother's passing. I would have been at the service otherwise. She is such a sweet lady and I count it a great blessing to have known her. Time has a way of separating people physically, but not in memory or thought. May God Bless you and your family and grant you peace and comfort.

Violet Pauline Love Miller, 84, born November 19, 1924, to the late Jasper and Florence Baldwin Love, passed away Thursday September 3, 2009 in Heartland of Riverview. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Miller. Violet was a retired owner of Millers Market Proctorville and retired employee of Polan Industries of Huntington. She was a lifetime member of Windsor Methodist Church of Proctorville. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Betty Jo and David Thaman of Mars, PA; three granddaughters Erin, Courtney, and Anna; one great grandson Sean; sister and brother-in-law Vivian and George Humphrey of Kitts Hill, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law Franklin and Susie Love of Proctorville; sisters-in-law Cleora and Kimball Whitley of Proctorville and Alfreda Christian of Proctorville; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends, including a special friend Noel Murdock of Huntington, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday September 7, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jack Rankin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday September 6, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
