Kyra,We just learned last night of the passing of Dallas,And wanted to let you know how sorry we are.Allen and I come up to hi room that day and the door was closed,and the people out in the hall said that they thought the nurses were in there doing someting so we just left.We are very sorry we didn't get in to visit that day,but we want to express our Deepest Sympathy to all of the family,we are sorry we didn't know it sooner,so that we could have made it to the viewing.Please know you are in our Thoughts and Prayers. Kyra, Kyle and Danielle,
We are so sad to hear about Dallas. We have been thinking of you all constantly since he got sick and praying for you. I know Dallas is in heaven but that doesn't make it any easier for the loved ones that are left behind. We are so sorry that we could not get there in time for the funeral.Dallas will never be forgotten because he still lives in all our hearts. We will always remember the sweet,kind,and brave person he was.Kyra I know you took such good care of him.

Dallas Ray Berry, 54, of Barboursville, WV passed away Monday September 21, 2009 in the Hospice House of Huntington. He was born September 13, 1955 in Logan, WV, son of the late Edward and Glenna Berry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law James Treadway. Dallas worked for Service Wire Company for 28 years and was a member of Minerva Masonic Lodge #13 AF & AM. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Kyra Treadway Berry; two children Kyle (Heather) Berry of Barboursville, WV and Danielle Rae Berry of Barboursville, WV; two brothers Ed (Kelli) Berry of Scottown, Ohio and John (Bonnie) Berry of Wayne, WV; two sisters Mary Catherine Porter of Proctorville and Shirley Kay Berry of Ohio; mother-in-law Myrtle Treadway of Ironton, Ohio; sisters-in-law Kathryn (Sam) Myers of Willow Wood, Ohio, Beverly Geer and the late Jerry Geer of Ironton, Ohio, and Donna Tackett of Ironton, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 24, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Justin Berry. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery Willow Wood, Ohio with Masonic graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
