Vivian L. Sowards, 68, of Scottown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 27, 2009. Vivian was born February 25, 1941 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Herschel and Glennie Bowen Sowards. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Waldo Nance; three daughters, and two sisters. She leaves behind son, Waldo Nance, Jr.; daughter, Mary Ferguson; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 A.M. Wednesday September 30, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jack Rankin. Burial will follow in Dempsey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday September 29, 2009 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall
