Doug Clark, 59, of South Point, Ohio passed away Sunday November 8, 2009 in Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born January 12, 1950 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Arno and Naomi Clark. Doug was Past Master of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM, member of Proctorville Teresa Chapter #257 OES, and President of the Lawrence County Agricultural Society. He was employed at the Lawrence County Juvenile Court and was a member of South Point United Methodist Church. Doug is survived by his wife Debra Clark; daughter Candida Clark; son-in-law Dennis Adkins; three brothers, Bob, Mike, and Larry Clark; two sisters Lisa Smith and Becky Clark; two grandsons Kevin and Blake; beloved aunt Eva Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 12, 2009 at South Point United Methodist Church, 202 East Third Street by Pastor Terry Washburn. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio with a Masonic service to be conducted at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Debbie, I will always remember Doug as the first person there to help anybody in any situation. When Dad died, he was at the hospital with us, and I don't even know how he found out we needed him... he just appeared ready to do whatever was needed. It was the same when Paul died, he was there, always ready to do whatever. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
