Charles Dennis Carpenter, 55 of Crown City, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 in the Hospice House of Huntington. He was born February 16, 1954 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Pearl and Goldie Mae Keaton Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by a brother Richard Carpenter. He was a welder in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by three daughters April (Jason)Walters of Crown City, Ohio; Amanda (Travis) Hill of Gallipolis, Ohio; Amber Phillips of Gallipolis, Ohio; companion Patricia Johnson; four grandchildren Levi and Ty Walters; Gage Hill; Lilly Ann Phillips; three sisters Leta (David) Lowry of Chillicothe, Ohio; Judy (Don)Fultz of Chillicothe, Ohio and Bertha Carpenter of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers Fred (Connie) Carpenter of Laurelville, Ohio; Larry (Beulah) Carpenter of Wellston, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews and many special friends including Kenny Hedges. The family would like to extend special thanks to Stephanie Ross and Tamra Tredway; caregivers Kenny and Beverly Gillenwater and Phyllis Green. Visitation will be 11:00 am to noon on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Jones and Pastor Sonny Winters officiating.
