Faith, I am so very sorry for your loss. There are just no words that I have, that can truly express how sorry I am. I do not know the pain of losing a child. Gary was truly a sweetheart. The last I saw the two of you was when I helped him with glasses. I had just learned I was expecting. You both came in with the most infectious smiles. (he got that from you) I have experience a great loss my self in the past year as my husband passed away last spring. However I know it's nothing compared to losing a child I do know this...God will carry you through this. When you feel you are not strong enough to make it through the day he will carry you in his loving arms. I know Gary is smiling down on you just as he would have here on earth. I only met Gary a handful of times, but each and everytime I can tell you that he always had a smile on his face and a hug or handshake for anyone around. He was a kind and warm-hearted soul and while his family and close friends are greiving his loss in this world, Heaven is rejoicing in his presence. He will be missed greatly, but I do believe that he will be with each and every person that he loves daily, forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Dear Faith, I came to the funeral home but realized from the hundreds of young people there, that I would extend my condolences privately to you since my card. Since we lost a son, I can't walk near a young person's casket and apologize for that. You were always so kind with a great sense of humor with Daryll and me at Dr. Savory's. Faith I know people will say I know what your going thru, but no they don't..Honey as a moms point of view I do know what your going thur we losted shellie in 2007 at 25yrs. of ages from a brain tumor she went to sleep and didn't wake up.
Gray and Shellie are both with Jesus now..It's really hard but with God's help is the only way you can get thur this..

Everyone that met Gary liked him. Although I only talked to him a handful of times in the short time I knew him, I will never forget him. Gary Charles Adams, 25 of Waterloo, Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Gary Charles was born on February 15, 1984, the youngest son of Faith Miller Adams of Waterloo, Ohio and Darrell Adams of Ironton, Ohio. He attended Symmes Valley High School, where he was an active FFA member, 4-H member, member of the Junior Fair Board and member of the Viking Football Team. After graduating high school in 2002, Gary continued to donate his time to the football team for seven years. Gary also was the videographer for both the football and basketball teams. Gary attended Shawnee State University where he studied Computer Science and Fine Arts. Gary Charles was a proud employee of Marathon Petroleum Co., where he became a U.S. Coast Guard Certified Tankerman. He was a lifelong member of McDaniels Crossroads Church. Gary Charles had a special gift of making friends wherever he went, and he loved them all. Gary Charles was preceded in death by his grandfather and name sake Gary Elden Miller; grandmother Bertha Adams; great grandparents Jake Miller and Martha Meek; and great great grandparents Mart and Belva Miller. Gary Charles is survived by his mother Faith Miller Adams; his father Darrell Adams; his only sibling Jonathan Adams, sister-in-law Lora Adams; nephew Caden Brammer, grandmother Carol Miller; great grandmother Edith Jarvis; grandfather and name sake Charles Adams; aunts Linda and John Carpenter of Waterloo, Ohio; Lori and Rob Waugh of Jackson, Ohio; Cheryl Miller of Hillsboro, Ohio; uncles Brian and Joy Adams of Deering, Ohio; Jeff and Mary Ellen Adams of Tennessee; Todd and Maria Adams of Raceland, Ky.; cousins Jonda Carpenter, Derek and Amanda Carpenter all of Waterloo, Ohio; Brandon Coburn and Trent Coburn both of Crown City, Ohio; Tristin Coburn of Camp LeJune, NC.; Kyle McClellan of Greenfield, Ohio; Austin Bradley of Gallipolis, Ohio; Travis and Housten Adams of Tennessee; Landon and Haley Adams of Raceland, Ky.; and a multitude of family and friends.
