Evelyn Joyce Ferris Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1946 - 2013 Evelyn Joyce Ferris, 66, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born July 13, 1946 in Proctorville, Ohio daughter of the late Ernest J. and Clemie Hayes Carpenter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Burd. She is survived by her husband Edward L. Ferris; one son Edward L. Ferris, Jr.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six brothers Nathaniel Carpenter, Jay Carpenter, Clovis Carpenter, Jackie Carpenter, Shelton Carpenter, and Kenny Carpenter; two sisters Charlotte Miller and Beatrice Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons. Burial will follow in Langdon Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Ed, Eddie & Family, I am very sorry for your loss. I'll be keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Evelyn was a wonderful lady and I have fond memories of her from my childhood in Pine Hollow.
