Poppy's laugh will always be etched in my heart, and his smiling face is one I look forward to seeing at heaven's gate. Anyone who knew him could see how much he loved Nan and his family. Nan, Aunt Betty, Uncle Greg, and family Im thinking of you often and pray God comforts you all during this time of loss. Gone but always in our heart, until we meet again, you will be missed. I love you all!

Phil and I shared a ride to the C-K alumni band and the Greater Huntington Symphonic Band practices. During the trip, He liked to talk about how he met Peggy and immediately knew that he wanted to marry her. Their lasting love provides us with an example of two people becoming one.

I would like to express my condolences to Phil's family. Phil was a friend of mine in the late 1970's . HE was the Body shop foreman at Superior Cadillac in it's heyday. I can honestly say Phil Cook was truly one of the finest men I have ever known. He used to be so proud of his woodwork. At that time Greg was a police officer. Bob Watts was Phil's assistant. Just wanted to honor the man and say it was an honor to know him. God Bless you all.

My very first teaching job was at the Cabell County Vocational-Technical Center back in 1989. That is where I met Phil Cook. We all called him "Cookie"...he was the kindest man, and his smile lit up a room. I have such fond memories of him. He was a true gentleman and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed.
