I can't go a day without thinking of Hub.. He was the best Father-n-law anyone could ever have. It didn't matter if I was in the worst of moods he could always make me laugh. Not a min. went by he wasnt picking on me.. I loved that about him. I am going to miss that and what I would always say to him everytime he did or said something to me. "Damnit Hub" and he would just laugh at me. Bryan and I have been together for 13yrs and I never imagined this would happen to such a "GREAT MAN" so early in life. It hurt me soo bad to see him go and for it to hurt everyone that loves him soo much.. Even though you are not with us and we can not be with you, you are always with us in spirit and watching over us.. Hub we love and miss you so very much.. Your Daughter-N-Law Nancy, we will always be here for you no matter what.. We love you.. If you need us let us know Love your daughter-n-law

Let's all remember to pray for his wife, Nancy and family during this time of grief. But, let's not forget to recall the great memories that ole Hub has left us with here. I will always remember him as a hard worker, perhaps too hard at time. He was a man that never gave up, when the rest of us would have shouted, "That's it--I'm finished"! Hub kept on going until it WAS finished. And when that task was completed, he'd start on another one. I'd say nearly every person that reads his obit can tell of a time that Hub has helped them out with something. Hub was a giver--a giver of his time, money, talent, or whatever the situation called for. Most importantly, he was a good and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. Hub played many roles in this life, and he played them to the MAX! Good-bye our dear friend. Harry Lee and Kay Smith
