Forrest Robert Forrest Robert “Beetle Bailey” Bailey, 95, of Lesage, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 11, 1929, the son of the late Chauncey Coleman (Cove) and Dora Bailey. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Imogene (Spurlock) Bailey. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Dreama Sue (Kingery) Bailey; two sons, Derek Bailey of Chesapeake, OH, Brian Bailey (Tricia) of Ona, WV; two daughters, Diane Scarberry of Lesage, Melissa Jordan and her fiancé Greg McGinnis of Debord, KY; one brother, Garland Bailey of Huntington, and a former son-in-law, Jimmy Jordan of Milton; one very special sister-in-law, Donna Kingery whom he loved very much; eight grandchildren, Robert, Allen, Chris, Hannah, Kelsea, Austin, Justin, and Jared, who were his pride and joy; eight great-grandchildren, Dakota, Scout, Stella, Eli, Declan, Colton, Atlas and Maeve, the apples of his eye. Forrest (Beetle Bailey) retired from ACF industries after 32 years. He was an avid farmer who enjoyed raising chickens, selling eggs. He took so much pride in his yard work and maintaining his farm. Forrest was our dearly loved husband, daddy and poppal. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Michael Booth. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery.
