
BERMAN H. NOE, of Barboursville, WV, passed away July 30, 2025, at Kingston Residence in Hickory, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Jim Musgrave. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
He was born May 15, 1936, in Chattaroy, WV, a son of the late Paul H. Noe, Sr. and Maymie Stone Noe. He was valedictorian of Chattaroy High School in 1954 and was a retired manager from Huntington Alloys (Special Metals).
He was a faithful member of Kuhn Memorial Presbyterian Church for 51 years, where he served in several capacities including elder, deacon, secretary and building foreman for the choir chancel. He enjoyed several hobbies throughout his life, including woodworking, photography, fishing, golfing, mountain biking, coaching and cooking. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Helen Hoskins Noe who passed away on May 17, 2025, in his loving arms. In addition, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Paul H. Noe, Jr. (Margaret), Ellsworth H. Noe, Samuel Eugene Noe (Eleanor), Bill E. Noe (Francis).
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Noe Gibbs (John); son, Brian K. Noe (Sherry); grandchildren, Ashley Claire Upchurch-Kreykes (Daniel), Tyler Craig Noe (Nicki), Hayden Olivia Upchurch Barot (Samarth), and Aaron Michael Noe (Savanah); great-grandchildren, Myah Rose Noe, Lucas James Noe, Atlas Jack Noe, Noa Lyn Noe; and nieces and nephews, Sharon Noe Peoples, Brad Noe, Bill Noe, Stephanie Noe-Sherwood, Leah Noe Breece, Beth Hoskins Jarvis, Steve Hoskins, David Hoskins and his brother Truman E. Noe (Brenda). He is also survived by many dear friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday prior to the service.
