Delpha Walker, 88, of East Lynn, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born in Wayne, WV on January 23, 1937. She was a member of Bethlehem United Baptist Church, but also attended many area churches.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Riley Cyrus Walker, her biological mother, Delpha Adkins, parents, Hurston and Wycal Adkins, one sister, Louise Lockheart, and three brothers, Luther Adkins, Waldow Adkins and Hiram Adkins.
She is survived by one son, who she called her big baby, Riley Walker Jr. (Melissa), one sister, Edith Massengill (Carlos) and a host of nieces and nephews. Also, her special caretakers, Tracey and Emily Dalton, Ryan and Becky Parsons, John Perry and Helen Sergent.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Delpha’s home in East Lynn, WV. Funeral will be at Four Mile Church of Jesus Christ at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 by Pastor Jason McComas. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.
