Val Dewain Walls, 79, of Branchland, passed away February 4, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Kenneth Ray Adkins. Burial will be in the Howard Ross Cemetery. He was born January 13, 1947, in Huntington, a son of the late Kenneth Cline Walls and Mary Sue Ross Walls. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Steel of WV with 49 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth C. Walls II. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arna Ross Walls and several nieces and nephews.
