Thomas, Gladys Farley – 92 – died April 7, 2026 in Charleston, WV.
Gladys was the oldest daughter of the late John M. and Mae Boggs Farley. She was the granddaughter of the late Isaac and Rachel Hamilton Farley and the late Floyd and Susie Caldwell Boggs.
She was born on May 8, 1933 at Causey, Leslie County, KY. She was married to Denver Lee Thomas at Berea, Madison County, KY on September 22, 1956.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver on October 19, 2023, and her only brother James and brothers-in-law Hobert Baker and John Eberman.
She is survived by her two sons Darrell Wayne (Karen) and Paul Edward (Janetta) and his two sons Jeremiah (Holley) and Jacy as well as four great-grandchildren (Jack, Harper, Phoenix and Dakota). She is also survived by three siblings Pearlie (Bailey) Thacker, Rachel Eberman and Elaine Baker and sister-in-law Shirley Farley. She has been an active member of the Church of Christ for many years.
Per her request there will be no services. Private burial is at family convenience at Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, Logan County, WV.
