Mable Emmaline Childers, 82, of Ona, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Emmaline was passionate, warm and kind. She dedicated her life to being a devoted Christian, a fantastic and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion that lives on in all of us. Family was her everything. Emmaline is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Emory Childers; son, Emory “Carey” Childers (Angie) of Salt Rock, WV; daughter, Tammy Christian (Greg) of Ona, WV; sister, Gaynell Smith (James) and several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren, Chris Clary (Jessica), Derrick Clary, Zachary Childers (Brittney), Michael Canning, Maddy, Carleigh, Jordan (Ashlyn) and Miranda Christian; and six great grandchildren, Hunter, Bradley, Jaina, Brooke, Emma and Saylor.
