Goldie Louise Elkins, 87, of Wayne, WV, passed away September 17, 2026. She was born July 28, 1939, in Munday, WV, daughter of the late Gurvis R. Sidwell and Lizzie McCentyre Sidwell. She was also preceded in death by daughter Jeannie Maze; her brothers and sisters Robert Sidwell, Marvin Sidwell, Dorothy Cline, Doreen Plummer, Maxine Ferrell, and Ruby Pitzer, and her nephew Albert Ferrell. She is survived by one daughter Donna Coles-Lamb (William); sons Charles Elkins (Angie), Robert Elkins (Crystal), and Paul Elkins (Brenda Fields); grandchildren Ethan Pierce, Kyle Elkins, Austin Elkins, Candace Elkins, Casey Sergent, Lyndsey Elkins, Paul David Elkins, Charlie Elkins (Charlotte), and David Lee Maze; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Danny Evans and Mike Dillon.
