David Andrew Edmunds 61, of Barboursville, WV, passed away October 8, 2026 due to complications of esophageal cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born May 27, 1965. He was preceded in death by his dad, David Allen (Yogi) Edmunds December 2024. He was a Cabell County School Bus driver of 17 years, which he enjoyed very much. He is survived by his three children, Elyssa Burch (Mark), Colton and Cameron Edmunds; one grandson, Zealand Burch; his mother, Sharon (Hicks) Edmunds; two sisters, Parthena (Edmunds) Booton (Kevin) and Jannifer Jo “JJ” (Edmunds) Hurt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington and especially Tim Beach for his kindness, care, and friendship. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Barboursville Park, Shelter 7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter.
