Dear Cheryl and Dave, Although we don't know each other well, we do have a similar interest in mind, that being Jadee and Bennett. Bennett is not Bennett Scott Reidt, and very much OUR son now. We are so happy to hear Jadee's adoption is final as well. We would like to send our deepest condolences and inform you that if there are any needs, please don't hesitate to contact us. We didn't know Shannon, but know your loss is great. We would love for the kids to see each other some day, if feasible. Again, we are greatly simpithetic for your loss. Sincerely, Raymond and Lisa Reidt

I am an old friend of Shannon's. I will never know how hard this is for you guys and am praying everyday for you. I am not so worried about him anymore. I know where he is. It's the ones left behind that need the support. Know that he is at peace now. Something he has been struggling to find for years. His memory will live forever in our hearts and he won't be forgotten. He has plenty of family and friends to make sure of that. God love, Kelly

We are so sorry to hear of Shannon's accident. He was a very close to my husband. I will always have the fond memory of Shannon that Timothy was in Meijers and he and my husband Alan was shopping for the material to build bottle rockets. Timothy was about 3 or 4 years old. Timothy wanted the same thing as Derek and Shannon started out with telling him no, Timothy cried and cried and cried. Shannon never once loss his patience. He would just hug, hold and comfort him. There was more occasions than that, that Shannon would just hug, hold and comfort Timothy. They love him very much and they were looking forward to spending fathers day with him. I am a sister to Colleen. My heartfelt prayers and condolences goes out to both of you. My God give you the peace that passes all understanding. Sincerely, Alan and Tammy Stearns
