Dear Pat,
I was so sorry to hear about George Passing over. He was always such a good fried of mine and neighbor. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His care and keep you strong. WE never think about dying when we were young but now I know it will happen as I am the same age as George.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad passing. I feel bad that I did not know until today. I have fond memories of your dad and family out on the farm...way back in the day! I was SO afraid of him with his big presence and deep voice. He seemed to be a tough scary guy but I knew he was a "softie" after I grew up. :D Pat, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May all of the good memories comfort you and your family. Thinking of you all with sincerest sympathy.

I have so many memories growing up of George and the Shriver family. Some are stories told since I was the youngest of the Diekema's from when you lived here in Fremont. George will always be remembered and missed. Praying for you and your families during this time that you all will find peace and comfort in the days ahead. So sorry for your loss.

George Edward Shriver age 72 of Lakeview MI died Saturday May 28,2011 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus, East Grand Rapids. He was born February 27,1939 the son of George H. and Mable R. Hibbard Shriver in Fremont MI. He was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1957, a long time dairy farmer and farm implement salesman and attended the New Life United Methodist Church of Six Lakes.
