Bonnie J. Burton, 78, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, June 7, 2010, at her residence. She was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Rush, Ky., to the late George and Edna ONeal Ferguson. Her husband, Marion F. Burton, survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Franklin Burton; a grandchild, Jeremy Michael Burton; and three brothers and two sisters.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael Burton and wife Helen Carroll of Florence, Ky.; a daughter, Nancy Burton Martin and husband Bob of Willoughby, Ohio; grandchildren, Elisabeth Martin Shirring and husband Christopher of Westerville, Ohio and Amanda J. Martin of Willoughby, Ohio.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Rose HIll Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Dr. Ronnie Mayes and the Rev. Charles Stewart.
Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the mausoleum chapel.
