Charles Philip Walker, 80, of Ashland died Friday at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, Ohio, following an extended illness.
He was born March 15, 1930, in Ashland to the late Philip Sheridan and Opal Mae Hogsten Walker. His wife, Shirley L. Walker of Catlettsburg, survives.
The U.S. Air force veteran served during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Armco Steel.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Charla S. Cassity and husband, Jeff, of Ashland; and two grandchildren, Brandon R. Sanders and Emily J. Cassity.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens followed by the burial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice.
Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
