I am so sorry to hear about Tim. Tim and I were friends at WCU and stay connected once in a while via email. I was just 'talking' to him around Christmas about helping me find cabinet hardware. I'm just in shock. Please know that I'm praying for you and your family!

Just wanted to let Tim's family know how much I appreciate his friendship during the college years. There are several computer classes I would have taken over again if not for him.
It is evident that this kindness and generosity stayed with him throughout his life.
My condolences to your family.

I had the good fortune to work with Tim for a time. He was one of the finest human beings that I've known and I say that sincerely. His devotion to his wife, daughters, family, church, and community and his care for others was both a model and inspiration for all who knew him. I will greatly miss knowing that he is in this world; he will not be forgotten. - JH

My sincerest sympathies and condolences to Beth and the girls. Tim was a great man. I knew him first as a pledge, then a brother in Delta Sig. Later, we exchanged stories, challenges and triumphes as husbands, fathers and Christian brothers. He was an inspiration and a truly good-hearted individual. He will be sorely missed.

Beth and family, I am so sorry to hear of Tim's passing. You don't know me but I went to WCU with him. We had seen each other at a Buffett concert several years back and then reconnected through Facebook. Tim was a wonderful man and I was blessed to know him. I can only imagine the husband and father that he turned into. May GOD bless your family in the coming days, months and years.

To Tim's family:
I was on board at UltraCraft when Tim came through the doors there as an apprentice with Basil Laughlin. I had the privilege of knowing and working with him until Sept. 2008. Tim, indeed, was a caring man - devoted to his family, his work, his church, and most of all, to the One that guided his life. The last time I saw Tim was at UltraCraft around mid December. I had stopped by the lobby to drop off a package for a friend and he was leaving for his lunch break. He walked through the doors with that big smile, hugged me and said that he missed me, and to take care of myself and I knew that he genuinely meant it. I am truly blessed to have been one of Tim's friends and I know that I'll see him again someday, too. Thank God for His promises!

I remember Timmy when we went to Bethany UMC when we were young children. He was always the nicest fellow. The past several years have been a blessing to see him coaching softball and seeing him at the games. I saw Timmy for the last time on Saturday before his death at Chick-fil-A at the mall. I'm so thankful to have been able to say hey to him then. May God give you all perfect peace. Timmy was a man of God. I saw Jesus in him.

I have worked with Tim for quite a long time. He has always been so proud of you all and talked about you often. I know you will miss him dearly, though I cannot imagine the emptiness you must be feeling as he was such a big part in your lives. I know that he loved the Lord and is in heaven now. Just remember,"Those who love the Lord, never say good-bye, only see you on the other side"

To Beth and the girls,
I am so sorry for your loss...I truly am. You don't know me, but I knew Tim in college at Western Carolina University. We used to hang out in the same group of friends when he lived in Reynolds dorm, and I dated one of his pledge brothers in Delta Sig. I hadn't spoken with him in 15 or so years, and we found each other through facebook a few months ago. I am so thankful I was able to reconnect with Tim, chat about old times, and come to see the amazing person he had become. As I read all the messages from his friends on this website, facebook, and myspace, it is obvious he was a blessing to many, many people. My heart breaks for you all...I wish I could provide some comfort to you. I will pray for you...

I am so sorry to hear about Tim. I attended a week of classes with him several years ago, through our employer, Norcraft Companies.
He was very kind and friendly to everyone there.
He will be missed.

Not sure what to say at a terrible time like this. But, I wanted to at least say that, even though I did not know Tim well, it was clear to me that he was a great person and I enjoyed working with him. He was talented and still fun to talk to. I don't know why God lets bad things happen to good people, but I know He has a plan. My prayers are with those he left behind.

Beth and girls, I had the honor and privilege to work Tim for many years now. I can not tell you how sorry we are at your loss. Tim was a very thoughtful, hardworking man who loved you all with his whole being. He will be greatly missed by all of us. You are all in our thoughts. No matter where I went with Tim locally he always knew the people and especially the kids and took the time to talk and say hi. He was truly a special man. Cherish the memories and share them with each other , also, continue with the dreams you all have. If there is anything I can do, please just let me know.

To the family of Tim Parris: I had the honor of working with Tim on several occasions, and he was always a pleasure. Such a kind man with a wonderful attitude. He was more than a co-worker; he was a friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him at UltraCraft and Norcraft. You have my deepest sympathies for all you are going through. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you comfort and peace.

Beth, I cannot put into words everything I wish I could say. I know you kept asking me to pray for Timmy but my prayers are for you. At the hospital Monday you said you was going to continue Tim's hopes and dreams for the girls. You can do it. And You Are NOT Alone!!! You, Whit, Salem and Miss Kinley are loved by many!!!!!

Beth, Whit, Salem & Kinley - Our hearts go out to you and we cannot begin to express how our family has always felt about you and Tim. Tim lived as he believed, in God. His work with the youth of the community through the church or sports was always dear to his heart. He loved you all and was as proud as we had ever seen escorting his beautiful home-coming queen. We will keep you in our prayers and thoughts and please let us know if we can help you in any way.

To the Parris family:
You are in my prayers. I know the deep hurt you are feeling. I lost my Father, Mother and daughter. The only peace I have found is through my Precious Lord and Savior. I pray that His peace will be with all of you at this time. God has given us the promise that heaven will be a place of celebration and reunion with our loved ones and for every minute that passes is a minute closer to seeing them again. Know that you are loved and I will be lefting you up to the Lord. May you feel His love every second of the day. Psalm 31:3-5 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. Into thine hand I committ my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Love and Prayers,
Carolyn Frye Moffitt

Tim I've always known you to be a good man in this life. I hope I can live by your example and meet you one day again. It was my pleasure to have worked with you. You will be missed dearly.
To Tim's children, I too lost my father recently and it doesn't matter if you've had 5 years or 50 years with him, it is never easy to go through. Just take the time to remember everything good he has given you spiritually. Then never forget because through those memories he will always be with you.
To Tim's wife, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, but if there is anything I could help you with know that I am there. I can say that in time things will get better but right now every moment feels like an eternity and time is only a reminder of what was. Be strong for your kids, but don't be afraid to let them be strong for you too.

To the entire Parris family: My family and I want to express our sympathy during this time. Tim was one of a kind; always had a smile and a hug. My kids will forever remember him, and I am thankful that they got to know him, and will remember him when they think of their times at Whites Memorial Church. I pray for the Lord to give you comfort during this time, and the strength to get through it. One thing's for sure, Tim is with his Savior now, and will forever remain in our memory and our hearts. Rest In Peace Tim, until we meet again.....
