It was my honor, pleasure adn privilege to know Ed and considered him a very close friend. He always gave selflishly to his friends and the Community of Apex. For his many hours spent coaching baseball to his countless hours at Kidstown Playground, we've all lost a wonderful friend and confidant. Chris and Kevin can take solace in knowing that their father touched a lot of lives and all of us are better off for having had him as a friend.

I'm saddened to hear of your dad's passing. He was a good man who cared deeply about his family and doing the right thing, whether it was being a good neighbor or coaching baseball. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Sorry to hear about Ed's passing. I worked with Ed at CP&L at the Harris E&E Center until I was transferred in 1993. I can still hear him joking and laughing. My sympathies go out to the family and especially to Chris and Kevin.

I am at a loss for words to hear of Ed's passing. Ed was like a big brother to me when I was younger, and I will always cherish those memories of beach trips and get-togethers with him. He always kept me laughing and had a huge heart. My sympathies go out to the family and especially to Chris and Kevin. I really thought alot of your dad and I can see him in both of you.

Chris and Kevin, I was sorry to read about your father's death in the paper today. He was a good friend to us when he lived on Kelly Rd. Of course, you remember our cow incident very well. My husband thought a lot of Ed. When are funeral arrangements? My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barbara Jo Timberlake
