Dear Carolyn, Corbin and family, I had the privalaged of going to school with Mackenzie at Fayetteville Street and Faith. Mackenzie was a very sweet and thoughtful young lady. There was not one negative thing about her. I'm truly sorry about your loss of your daughter, but please know that we are praying for you and your family. God Bless!

Corbin and Carolyn, I did not know your daughter but from what I have read on this site she seems to have been a beautiful person. But more than that she apparently was a Christian and is now in Heaven experiencing unspeakable joy. You must hold onto the knowledge that you will be with her again. My heart breaks for the both of you and I am praying for God to give you the strength to sustain you.

Carolyn and Corbin, We will always remember Mackenzie as the tiny, shy, smiling, beautiful, little girl that played basketball at Fayetteville Street. The times at the concession stand seem like yesterday! Mackenzie will never be forgotten! While there is much saddness at this time...you must proud of the example to others that Mackenzie was! For everything there is a purpose and only when we get to Heaven will we really understand... but we have heard that lives have been changed as a result of "Mackenzie Moffitt"! You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Corbin, Carolyn, and family: I had the privilege of going to school with Mackenzie at both Fayetteville Street and Faith. We did not talk much, but she left no doubt in my mind that she was a great blessing to the people close to her. I can honestly say I never heard or saw a negative thing concerning her, and I could tell she had evident Christian character that she displayed everyday. I want to extend my deepest, heart-felt sympathy to your family. I cannot imagine the pain you are experiencing at this time, but God does. I will be praying for you. (Matthew 11:28)

Dear Mackenzie Lee Moffitt, When your mother told me you were gone, I knew your soul had taken flight like a dove to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pondered the question, "Why do the righteous die young in their righteousness and the wicked live long in their wickedness"? But, that is a question we cannot ask. However, we do know it is better for the righteous. I will always see your reflection in your father's face and I will always hear your kind voice in your mother's words. Like the dew lingers on the field in the morning waiting for the sun to draw it away--like a vapor we are gone. If a million years is but a day to our Lord and Savior, those who are righteous and love the Lord will see you in the morning. With Deepest Sympathy, Eddie & Marion Hughes

Dear Mr.& Mrs. Moffitt, You don't know us but we wanted you to know that we are praying for you. Our son Josh unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 9-3-08. Josh attended Faith Christian School 4th through 6th grade and was in Mackenzie's class. He was a Junior this year at Vandalia Christian School. Know that as God's child, He will never leave you nor forsake you through this and will be with you every step of the way. Just when you don't think you will make it, He is always there. What would we do without the Lord and the assurance of knowing that our children are in the very presence of Christ and that all those who receive Christ will one day be reunited for eternity. We will continue to pray for you in the days ahead. Love in Christ, The McBrides

I used to go to school with Kenzie when she went to Fayetteville Street. I didn't know her very well, but I did know that she was a sweet girl. I can't believe that this has happened, but God allowed it for a reason, and I know its hard, but if u just trust in him he'll get you though this. -With Love, Loren Purvis

Our family wishes to convey our sincere condolences to Mackenzie's family and friends. Our son, Andy, has attended Faith Christian School for the last four years, and although we did not know her personally, we feel that she was a part of our family through the school and through our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. We saw Mackenzie at the school nearly everyday when we would pick Andy up from school. She was always well behaved and had a lot of fun with her friends. She will be deeply missed. May you take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and our prayers are with you that the Lord will hold you with the peace that only He can provide and may you be embraced in His precious love. Sincerely, Bobby & Joyce Conner & Andy Miller
