Louis Merrill McCormick Jr. age 47, of Gallipolis, died Saturday March 15, 2003 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born May 17, 1955 in Pt. Pleasant, WV. Louis was an employee of Gallia County Rural Water, a member and Past Master of Patriot Masonic Lodge #496. He also attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Lecta.
He is survived by: Father: Louis Merrill McCormick Sr.; Mother: Betty Ann Darst McCormick; Wife: Patty Neville McCormick, who he married Jan. 2, 1991 in Virginia; 2 Step Children: Ashley Hollingshead and Alex Neville; Sister: Deborah McCormick; 3 Nephews: Michael Tyler Wachs, of Gallipolis, Derrick McCormick of Cincinnati, OH, and Kent McCormick of Fairborne, OH; 3 Nieces: Hedi Jo Wachs and Brianna Wachs,of Gallipolis, and Mandy McCormick of Cleveland, OH. Brother: Earl "Butch" McCormick of Mansfield; He was preceded by 1 Nephew Michael Lee Wilson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 19, 2003 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9 P.M. Masonic services will be conducted by Patriot Masonic Lodge #496 at the funeral home at 8:30 P.M. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Lecta.
