David and I went through grade and high school together. Another classmate informed me of his passing, so I consulted "The Gallipolis Tribune" on line. Seeing David M. Robinson, age 75, my first thought was, no, too old, not the same one. Then I woke up and realized, that's right, 1930 is my birth year, too! I did not know David had been ill. Two things stand out in my memory of David from school days: His "doodling" ability--illustrations, that is, probably in the margins of exam papers, but especially when lessons became a little boring. And he had some fancy footwork to make himself glide across the floor toes-in-heels-out/heels-in-toes-out in rapid succession, always enjoying the locomotion. At our last class reunion, he asked me if I remembered the Crossley? Yes, I remember he had one, and from the twinkle in his eyes I could see he harbored fond memories in connection with those "wheels." David was always fun-loving and active in behind-the-scene sports--in charge of scoreboards, I believe. Kind condolences to his family and friends as we keep him in our memories. Tanya & Nancy - so sorry to learn of your sadness - but I know Dave had been in failing health for quite sometime. I did enjoy the time spent with him when I worked at the French City Craft and Antique Mall a couple years ago - he was quite a "character". You're in my thoughts and prayers... Kathy O.

We are deeply saddened by the death of David. He was a kind man, full of sprit and a spice for life. He was a good honest man and a very caring person. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Nancy Davis and to the the Robinson family. January 15, 2006 Howie & Lora Kubsch, Lake Placid, FL
