1957 - 2006
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Andrew J. Hill, III, in Austin, Texas on March 7, 2006 at age 49. Andy, formerly of Silsbee, was the son of Paul W. (Sam) Hill and Faye Robertson Hill, both deceased. He is survived by two sisters, Janie Hill and Candi Hill Lacy, a brother-in-law, Curtis Lacy and their son and daughter, Casey and Mandy, all residing in Cypress, Texas.
Andy was born September 1, 1957 and graduated from Silsbee High School in 1976. He graduated from Lamar University in December, 1978 with a degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics Technology. Andy worked for years on the North Slope in Alaska and had resided in Austin for the past five years.
Andy had a great heart and was always there to help anyone he knew. He will be missed by many.
The family is planning a memorial service, details to be announced at a later date of the Farmer Funeral Home website.

Jani, Candi, Curtis, Casey and Mandy; It is very hard to express our sad feelings for your loss. Ben and his family were visiting me when we read about Andy's passing. We also suffered a great loss in our lives this past Sept 4 when Joe passed away after a stroke. We understand what you are all going through and wish we could help in some way. I will never forget playing with Andy and Rusty when we were kids. We had some fun times. They were like bothers to me. Janie and Candi, you were like sisters to me also. Hope to see you at the Memorial Service. All my love, thoughts and prayers, Alicia

I grew up with Andy. Went to school for 12 years and a few at Lamar. Ran the roads with him quiet a bit in my youth. Looking back I do not think I knew how hard it was to loose both parents at such a young age. Andy had a great mind on him and was always fun to be around. My sincere condolences.David Stout

Candi and Janie,
I hated to hear about Andy. I can remember some really good time we had growing up. I have often wondered about him and how he was doing. I know he is in a better place now. My sincere condolences.
