ALICE STREET
Funeral services for Alice Street, 81, of Silsbee are 2:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Street passed away April 6, 2006 at Silsbee Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Street was a native of Silsbee and longtime resident of Beaumont. Alice was retired from Santa Fe where she worked as an operator.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Street. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Gerald Wheeler of Beaumont; granddaughter and husband, Stacey and James Fischer of Lumberton; granddaughter Molley Wheeler of Pagosa Springs, CO; great grandchildren, Lauren Fischer and Ivy Wheeler; brother and wife, Allen ‘Bubba’ and Hilda Freeman of McKinney; nieces, Carlin Udovich of Allen and Gay Travis of Quitman; sister Neva Rice of Tarkington Prairie and numerous other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Silsbee Convalescent Center and also Denise, Marlene, Norma and Henrietta Hughes for their special loving care of Alice.
