Graveside services for Paul Valentine Lawson, 94, of Silsbee will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Guedry Cemetery in Batson under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Lawson died June 7, 2006 at Kountze Nursing Center.
A native of Saratoga, Paul had lived in this area most of his life. He worked as a lease operator in the oilfield industry.
Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Edna Lawson, wife Estelle and his sons, Larry and Robert. His brothers and sisters Burlin, Lamar, Juanita, Ralph, Herman, Naomi, Ellis, Billie Joe and Violet also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his granddaughters, Lanora Schumerth of Freer, Nannette Hadwin of Beeville and Robie Wilson of South Sioux City, NE; five great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Martha Lawson and many other extended family members.
