Graveside services for Maythell Gallop, 77, of Buna will be 10:00 am Friday at Morse Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home of Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gallop died June 20, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Dallas, Mrs. Gallop was a long time resident of Buna. She worked as a convenience store clerk until retiring.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Bryant of Buna and Jarvis W. Gallop of Florida; two brothers, Richard Bacon of Irving and Jack Fox of El Paso and eight grandchildren.

She was my Granny Gallop, I am the daughter of her son who preceded her in death, Stephen Edward Gallop. She was always happy when I spoke and visited with her and had alot of stories to tell! She is still missed.
