Funeral services for Edgar Alonzo Dorman, 76, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am June 29, 2006 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A Masonic graveside service will be conducted by Sour Lake Masonic Lodge 1002 in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dorman passed away June 25, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Alonzo was born in Buna and raised in Sour Lake before moving to Silsbee over 22 years ago. He was a retired iron worker and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. Alonzo was also a 32 degree Mason in the Sour Lake Masonic Lodge #1002.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 45 years, Vivian McDonald Dorman of Silsbee; sons, Larry Dorman and wife Traci of Conroe and Lynn Dorman of Sour Lake; daughter Lynda Jaggers and husband Greg of Rison, Arkansas; sisters, Lucille Lewis of Beaumont, Edna Mae Tucker of Nome, Beatrice Palmer of Daisetta and Louise Jackson of Angleton and grandchildren, Jared Lindner, Lonna Dorman, Wesley Dorman and Taylor Jaggers.
