Funeral services for Mary Frances Lopez, 75, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Thursday at North Hardin Baptist Church with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Neal Riley. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lopez died July 2, 2006 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare after a short illness.
Mary was a native of Beckley, West Virginia and was a long time resident of this area. She was a beloved member of North Hardin Baptist Church and owner of L & M Grocery Store.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Leno ‘Cuz’ Lopez. Survivors include sons, Mark McKinney and wife Jennifer and Miles McKinney, all of Fred; daughters, Sandy Canaday and husband Stan of Jacksonville, Florida, Patty Eason of Silsbee and Stacye Oster and husband Trey of Humble; brothers, Azzie Whitt of Bud, West Virginia and Clarence Whitt of Beckley, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
