Norma Sue WeatherfordFuneral services for Norma Sue Weatherford, 67, of Lumberton will be 10:00 am Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weatherford died July 26, 2006 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Norma was a native of Silsbee and had lived in Nederland most of her life before moving to Lumberton four years ago. She was a Nurse’s Aide and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital. Norma was currently employed at WalMart in Lumberton.

Survivors include her son Steve Weatherford of Lumberton; daughter Paula Boyd of Port Arthur; sister Mary Lou Nowlin of Warren; five grandchildren, James, Sissy, Jason, Stephanie and Josh and three great grandchildren.

I WORKED WITH YOUR MOTHER AT ST. MARY'S SINCE 4 WEST THRU ECU SHE WAS A GOOD FRIEND CO WORKER AND A VERY GOOD NURSE SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE HER PATENTS COMFORTABLE AND I HOPE THE CARE WAS GIVEN TO HER I AM VERY SORRY THAT SHE PASSED AND I HOPE THE FAMILY STAY STRONG AND SHE WILL BE WITH YOU ALL IN MEMORY AND IN YOUR HEARTS SHE WAS A GREAT LADY AND I WILL MISS HER STAY IN GOD'S LOVE IRIS LLOYD

I am one of many of the cashiers from wal-marts.. Just wanted to say how sorry i am to hear about her... SHe is such a great lady... She is missed very much.. and will all ways be loved and remembered..

Norma will be greatly missed at her post of duty as a greeter at Wal-Mart. She was one of my favorites to greet customers upon entering & exiting the store. Our prayers are with each of you during this time.
