Floyd H. Funeral services for Floyd Harrison “Daddy Floyd” Clark, 78, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Friday, August 11, 2006 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Burial will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Floyd was a native and longtime resident of Silsbee and had lived in Port Neches for several years. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He served as past Post 8574 Commander of the Silsbee VFW, was past District 2 Commander of the Department of Texas, was a lifetime member of the Cosmopolitan Masonic Lodge 872 in Port Arthur, a member of the Port Arthur American Legion, a member of the Beaumont Elks Lodge, was past president of the US Chickasaw Association and was a board member of the Veterans Memorial Park in Silsbee. He was retired after forty-five years with Sabine Transportation Company in Port Arthur.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, James Wesley Clark, mother Lola Sirmons and two brothers, Odis Clark and Jerry “Dick” Clark.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Vivian Clark of Silsbee; sons, Robert Clark and wife Marilyn of Silsbee and Randy Clark and wife Heather of Spring; daughters, Sherry Ratcliff and husband Bobby of Port Neches and Virginia Sonnier, also of Port Neches; 12 grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren; brothers, J. W. “Popeye” Clark, Jr. of Port Acres, Joe Clark of Silsbee, William Scott Clark of Silsbee, Ernest Sirmons of Matagorda and Ray Sirmons of Liberty; sisters, Tina Caperton of Three Rivers, California and Dorothy Eloise Dean of Vidor; numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew, “Bo” Clark of Crockett.

The Clark family would like to thank all family and friends for their loving help and support.
