Funeral services for Loyd Allen Crosby, 53, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Baker-Bell Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Crosby died August 16, 2006 at his residence.

Allen was born in Woodville and was a long time resident of Silsbee. He worked as a fork lift driver at Wooden Pallets.

Survivors include his daughter Deedra Baker and husband Jesse of Fred; sisters, Abigail Cryer of Silsbee, Shirley Tomkins of Spurger, Lucy Neilson of Utah and Nita B. Mock of Spurger; brother Royce Crosby of Silsbee and grandchildren, Amy and Magen Baker of Fred.

Allen was a good man he had a heart of gold he was kind considerate and a very hard worker. what ever he did he gave it 110 per cent. even tho his body is gone he will live on in our hearts. we will miss him.

I remember Allen as being a good provider for his family. He was always a hard worker who was willing to help anyone who needed him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
