Dear Family of Thelma, I am so sorry about Thelma's death. I had gone to church with her for years at Trinity Baptist and had visited with her often at the Nursing Home. I witnessed her faithfulness to the Lord on many occasions. Before it was necessary to go into the home, you could see her struggle to get from her car into the church, and then back out again, but she never gave up. Still, when she had to go into the home, she maintained that sweet smile that she had. She will be greatly missed. My brother George Read, who also lives at the same Nursing Home, was terrribly saddened when I had to tell him that Thelma had died. He said that Thelms loved to play Bingo, as did he, and he would surely miss her at the home. My sympathies to you all, Mary Haynes
