WILLIAM LYNN COWARD
Bill “Pee Paw” Coward, 63, of Lumberton passed away September 30, 2006 at home.
Bill was born on August 7, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Lynwood and Evelyn Coward. He lived in Lumberton for 16 years. He was retired from Silsbee Ford. He served in the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a proud member of the Lumberton Masonic Lodge. He loved to fish and play golf with his boys.
He is survived by his wife Sally Baker Coward; daughters Pam Taylor and husband Kit and Vickie Moffitt and husband Blair; grandsons Kristopher Tapley and Ryan Nicholson; granddaughters Kelli Hartman and husband Richard, Amber Guel and husband Juan, Jessica Nicholson, Emily and Erin Moffitt; brothers Tommy Coward and wife Bert, Jimmie Coward and wife Nancy; and great grandchildren Krislynn Tapley and Andrian Guel.
Pall Bearers will be “Pee Paws” grandsons, brother and son-in-laws.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday.
