Henry Francis Rodrigues Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2006 Henry Francis Rodrigues Funeral services for Henry Francis Rodrigues, 86, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Monday, October 16, 2006 at St. Marks Catholic Church in Silsbee with interment following in Knupple Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm and rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Rodrigues passed away October 13, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Born in Nacogdoches, Mr. Rodrigues was a long time Silsbee resident and was a retired machine tender with Eastex Paper Mill. Mr. Rodrigues was preceded in death by his wife Mavis, daughter Ann O’Dell and great grandson Christopher Land. Survivors include his sons Jerry Rodrigues and wife Susan of Wildwood and Tim Rodrigues of Zavalla; daughter Darla Austin and husband Billy of Silsbee; brother Alex Rodrigues of Lufkin; sisters Louise Luna and Tommie Montes both of Lufkin and Caroline Rodrigues of Nacogdoches; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and special friend Helen Dunaway.

Tim and Jerry, I was so sorry to hear about the death of your father. Growing up, we lived 2 houses down from you in Lufkin off 103 East. My parents were Tom and Rosa Montes. My sibling were Patricia, Wayne and Anthony. I have fond memories of your family. I remember that Ann called hickory nuts, "little balls." I never pass that house someout thinking of you. Our prayers are with your family.

To the Rodrigues Family, Our family is sadden to hear of Henry's passing. What a treat it was to be friends with both of your parents during the good ole Pine Festival Days! My last visit with Henry in the nursing home will be one I treasure because he was truly a friend to be treasured. Peg
