The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Gary Midkiff at Priority One Ambulance Service. Due to his skill and heroic effort on February 11, 2006, we were able to have 8 more months with our Mother. Also special thanks and great gratitude to Dr. Scott Sherron for the gentle kindness he showed our Mother while she was under his care. A true life Dr. McDreamy that made an old woman want to put on her good perfume for him. His care, concern and compassion is what helped us to have our Mother longer.
We cannot forget all the good people at Pine Arbor Convalescent Center in Silsbee. During the six months that Mom was a resident, she learned to love all the staff. She really missed them after she was able to return to her home.
Special, special thanks to Dr. Billie Strother of Maui, Hi., for her visits, calls, love and compassion and for the many warm blankets she brought Mom while she was ill. Thanks to Wanda and Kenneth Harwell for their faithful love and prompt help in times of need. Thanks to Ruth Bounds who was a good neighbor to Mother.
Our Mother was a great lady and we will miss her for the rest of our lives. If you still have a Momma, tell her that you love her while you still can.
