Funeral services for Minnie Lois Gore, 62, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Saturday October 28, 2006 at the First Pentecostal Church of Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with Reverend C. M. Duplissey officiating. Interment will follow in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gore died October 25, 2006 at her home in Silsbee after a brief illness.
A native of Evadale, Minnie had lived in Silsbee for 40 years. She worked as a home care provider for Texas Home Health. Minnie was a loving person with a big heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Gore, parents Miller and Mertha Harris and brother Lloyd Harris. Survivors include her daughters, Loretta Lois Whitson of Georgia, Ruby Diane Pyeatt of Galveston, Charline Falkner and husband Chris Falkner of Silsbee and Brittany Sheffield of Silsbee; sisters, Bernice Huddler of Vidor, Alice Dill of Silsbee and Hazel Gore of Evadale; sister-in-law Delores Harris of Buna; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
