I'm a new member to the GTRL Racing family. One of the things I remember most is how J.P. welcomed me in. He was one of the nicest people I ever had the priviledge to talk with. You know good people when you meet them and J.P. was the best. Rest in peace J.P., you'll always be remembered.

My deepest sympathy to Jame's family. I raced with "JP" at the GTRL and the MORL racing leagues. Simracing will never be quite the same without "JP". He was a true warrior in every sense of the word! Rest in peace, Brother.

My condolences to the Phelp's Family.
I knew James (JaiPaSai) for a long time and have ran in several online racing leagues with him over the years. The last one being the GTRL. Dave Roden, JaiPaSai, and myself started this league. He was a very big help with the website and to any new member that needed help. I believe he would rather help a new member get started in online racing than race himself sometimes. As Tony said, he was a very patient man and he was a true warrior to the end. GO ABR!!!
Rest In Peace My Friend

My connection to James and the rest of the Phelps family goes back literally my entire 46 years. We all used to sing at the Round Robin singings together. O, what family harmony they had. Both of our grandfathers were instrumental in supporting that singing. Time-and life-took us all in different directions. I was not aware of his passing--nor his illness. My heart goes out to his parents and the rest of his family.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of James Phelps. Although I never met JP in person he was a very close friend online. He helped me with sim racing and immediately asked me to join his ABR team (what a man of great patience). I will miss him dearly as will the entire GTRL family. God speed JaiPaiSai

I am so truly sorry to see Jimmy go, but I know his suffering is at an end and he's in a much better place. I'm so glad I was able to come to the viewing, even if we were unable to attend the actual funeral at the Hill. I will continue to pray for healing and peace for all those who loved him.

to the phelps family,
please accept my sincere, heartfelt condolences for the loss of james....
i belong to the "jrl" on-line racing league, and although i never had the chance to race with james, i did read, with great interest, his occasional posts in our league forums these past several months. all of the guys at "jrl" have always had nothing but great things to say about james, and it saddens me that i never really got the chance to know him.
i lost my father last year, and a very dear freind a few years ago to this damn desease... i know how deeply you hurt right now.... but james is at peace with our lord, and he is in paradise....
sincerely,
jim rose

To the Phelps family and friends, my condolences in your time of rememberance. It was great knowing James over the years in the sharing of our love for sim racing. He was a great contributor to the sport and always kept the fight against his cancer. He will be sorely missed by the entire sim racing commununity. You will be in our prayers.
