Graveside services for Minerva Gore, 77, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Visitation will be Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Gore passed away November 2, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Minerva was a native of Fred and was a lifelong resident of the Fred and Silsbee area. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was happiest when she was surrounded by her loved ones. Minerva was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Samuel C. Gore of Silsbee; children Tootsie Gore of Fred, Jeannie Gore of Fred, Trisha Ann Walker of Silsbee, Jody Thomas Cravy of Silsbee, Walter Lynn Blair of Silsbee, Samuel Gore, Jr. of Honey Island, Rena James of Kountze, Oliver B. Gore of Fred, Heubert W. Gore of Fred, Donna Bell of Zavalla, Debra B. Jeffcoat of Spurger, Roger N. Gore of Spurger, Paul Gore of Spurger, Delinda K. Gore of Silsbee and Averil Gore of Spurger; sister Dessie Gore of Fred; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends, who all loved her dearly.
