Jeannette and Family, Your Eddie was a wonderful man that will be missed by all that knew him. I especially remember fondly his devotion to the church and our many "building" encounters there. He was steadfast in his service to the community and his family. I consider myself blessed to have known him. God Bless and Keep You. Margaret

To Janette & Van Winkle Family: I was deeply saddened by Eddie's passing. I regret I cannot be present for his funeral to extend my personal sympathy. While working at Eastex in the 1960's and commuting to Lamar, I would go by the mill and pick up Eddie while he was completing his degree plan. Upon gratuation, I worked for Eddie one year before moving into the computer department for the duration of my tenure with Eastex and eventually Temple-Inland. We had numerous good times with all our co-workers and ssociates. These times will always be cherished. May God Bless you and may his legacy live forever. Milford Ratcliff
