As we viewed the video presentation and listened to the ministers, it brought to mind the similarity between Carl and his great grandpa, George, who was also quite a craftsman with his hands and wood. Both left many memories of what they had crafted. We are sorry for your loss, but he hung on a long time while suffering, and he is at rest, now. Your memories will sustain you. We love all of you.

Dearest Ruby,
I am so sorry about Carl's death. He stood tall in my heart. I served with him on the Knupple Cemetery Board for these years, and he always gave so much of himself to help us. I am so sorry that I did not get to come to the visitation tonight to tell you this in person. I had to go out of town today and did not get home in time to come. ( I can't drive after dark.). But I will be at the services tomorrow. Much love and sympathy, Mary Lowe Haynes
