I was at high school reunion where I just found out about denise passing. I just wanted to say how kind she was to me and others in high school and she will be missed. My condolences

I know its been almost 3 years since you've been gone but never forgotten in my heart. You will always be my hero and I miss you each and every second of everyday. Some people say it gets easier but it never does around this time its always hard on me. I miss you soooo bad and I wish you were here to see me grow up, Im trying to do everything I can to make you proud of me mom and i know you're looking over me right now its just hard knowing that your not here. Mom I know you were waiting at the gate of heaven with open arms to welcome mamaw. I know that now you too are together and that you both are healthy and you are in no more pain or have no more sickness, I think of you every day and miss you daily. You wanted to see me grow up and you truly did get to see me grow up mom because of you I am who I am today and I learned much from you. You truly were my hero and still are today I love you so much mom your in my heart always

Dear Aunt Judy, Nicky,Grandma and Micheal
How can I express what's in my heart? Denise was such a joy to be around.Her glowing face always told me that she was glad I was home.Now she's home with Grandpa and my mother(Aunt Velma).I know they were waiting with open arms.
Our sorrow will ebb in time but our love and memories never will.And one day if we give our hearts to God for safe keeping they all will welcome us home too.

She is no longer suffering. She is still in our hearts nothing will ever change that. We miss her but shes is in a better place and thats where she needs to be. It was her time to go. I love all of my family and I know we all miss her.

My heart goes out to the family and especially you Brittany. I know what it's like to loose a mother. Just always remember to live life the way your mom would want you to. You'll miss her everyday, but always remember she better off with no pain and suffering. I'm not really sure what was wrong with Denise, but I do know she's in alot better place than we are. She was always so sweet in school and when I seen her out a few times since we've been out of school. May God bless the family in this time and throughout life.

Denise was my very best friend in high school, but I lost track of her when I moved away. She has often been in my thoughts, and in my prayers. My heart breaks for Denny and Judy, and the rest of her family. She was one of the sweetest people who ever graced this world, and we are all poorer without her. Be with God, my old friend. I'm so sorry to find that you suffered, and that I wasn't there when you might have needed me.

Denise France Gillespie, 36, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Thursday February 22, 2007 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Sunday February 25, 2007 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Denver Prater. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Denise was born November 30, 1970, daughter of Dennie France and Judy France Hart. Denise was a graduate of Chesapeake High School, class of 1989. In addition to her parents, Denise is also survived by one daughter, Brittany Gillespie; one brother, Michael France and wife Christina of Alexandria, IN; one niece; two nephews; grandmother, Chloe Pennington; aunt, Alfreda Haynes; and special friends, Mae Ferris, Harvey Buckland, and Edward and Sarah Gillespie.
