Gravesides services for Lela A. Harrison, 84, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 2, 2007 at Cunningham Cemetery under the direction of R. S. Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harrison died February 27, 2007 at Buna Medical Center.
Mrs. Harrison was a native of Center and was raised in Pineland. She has lived in Silsbee most of her adult life. Lela was a retired cafeteria worker from Silsbee High School.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband Harlis H. Harrison and daughter Alice Eddings. Survivors include sons, Howard Harrison and wife Nancy of Silsbee and Robert Harrison and wife Jeanie of Silsbee; daughters Polly Karnes of Beaumont and Mary Ann Hamilton and husband Terry of LaPorte; brother Pete Sanford of Buna; grandchildren Alan Murphy of White Oak, Jason Murphy of LaPorte, Joshua Grimes of LaPorte, Alicia Edds of Silsbee, Angela Sharp of Silsbee and Rob Harrison of Silsbee and great grandchildren Logan Murphy, Taylor Murphy, Cody Edds, Coy Edds, Logan Edds and Lucas Edds.
Pallbearers will be Alan Murphy, Jason Murphy, Joshua Grimes, Rob Harrison, Cody Edds, Kenneth Harrison and Larry Easley.
