Joan, Darrel, Theresa & Mauri, please accept my condolences. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW UPSET BOTH FRED & I ARE THAT WE DIDN'T HEAR ABOUT CECIL'S DEATH TIL TODAY! Cecil was very special to us & was such an important part of our lives for 27 years. We shared many, many good times together. In Oct '04 Fred, Ron & I got to spend time with Cecil; we had a great visit; I think it was a healing time for all of us. We'll miss him, too. God Bless! Marty

"Grumpy" Cecil was what the grandchildren called him who I knew as my grandfather because he was married to my grandmother Helen before she passed away. I grew up knowing him and loving him. Several decades of wonderful memories I have of Cecil at Thanksgivings, Christmases, fishing trips, beach cabin trips, etc. My heart is saddened but strengthened knowing he was a good man and is loved by many. God Bless Cecil and May he rest in peace. -Chad Fazand

As Cecil's stepson for the 27-years he was married to my mother, Helen, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to his children. I only wish I had known that Cecil passed away. We only found out today, April 5th. My family was close to Cecil and I would have liked to attend his funeral.
