With sadness and in prayer for the Holy Spirit to hold you up and give all of the family strength. This young man was special to me and was in my prayers when things around my home reminded me of him. Travis ate played and would swim with the boys at our home growingup in The neighbohood. I remember him as a ball of energy, happy but always seemed to be looking, trying, and teasing. He had the air about him that kept ya on your toes, ready to go at any time. He liked to slam dunk on our goal and one day it tore away. I took it to my fab shop and bolted a 3/8th plate to the back and he never ever tore that one up. He thought it was funny. So did I! Memories, they ARE important. I will always remember my neighborhood boys and gals. They are all special as was Travis. I'm sorry I could not be there, but my heart and prayers were for and with you All. Bro. Sparks dedicated my kids while pastor at Wurtland. In Love from the Wilson Family

Travis, I will never forget the night that my sister, Brad, Erica, me, and you laid in the middle of the street on a backroad in Flatwoods watching the shooting stars and laughing our butts off at the silly stuff we all talked about. My sister and I talk about that night all the time and the funny saying that we came up with! I will never forget you! We will miss you terribly. Your family is in my prayers. Rest in Peace Travis.

Travis was a big man and his heart was often bigger than his body. He was always so full of energy and always making everyone laugh. I'm going to miss seeing you around. Rest in peace and may God bless you in Heaven. ~ "The Atom Bomb"

RaNaye, Please accept my deepest sympathy. I recoginized the Pennington name in the paper and found that it was you - my grade school best friend! When you get an opportunity email me. Travis was the reason that a lot of us would make sure to go to class on time at Russell! He had an amazing amount of energy and really was a shining star in our graduating class. When I heard the terrible news, I was quickly comforted by all the wonderful, happy memories I had of him. I hope that you are comforted with fond memories as well, and know that all our hearts go out to the family at this time of need. He will truly be missed.

Reading my paper this morning my heart just goes out to all of you about Travis. I graduated with Ranaye and knew most of the Sparks from Church as a youngster to high school. I can not imagine your pain during this sad time, but cling to God's promises, all of you, and he will see you through this difficult time. My prayers are with you.

My prayers are with you ALL. Travis was my friend. He played and ate in my home many times growing up with my son Rob. He surely knew about the LORD. Bro. Charlie dedicated my children while at Wurtland as Pastor. I loved and cared for all the kids in our neighborhood that would accept it. Travis was to me a ball of energy always trying to share himself yet looking. We as a family will miss Travis. Our prayers are that the Lord give you peace and compassion for one another. If you don't know Jesus as your savior, right now is a good time to ask Him into your heart! In prayer, Bro. Rick Wilson and family.
