Harvey L. Deer Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2007 Harvey L. Deer Funeral services for Harvey L. Deer, 81, of Silsbee will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Deer died April 11, 2007 at Village Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Deer was a longtime resident of this area. He was a retired mechanic from Gibson Truck Service and had proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. Survivors include daughter Linda Crites and husband Timothy of Silsbee; sisters Ruth Stanhope of Madison, MS and Wilda Grimsley of Utica, MS; brothers Wendell Deer of Clinton, MS and Robert Deer of Lafayette, LA and one grandson James Crites.
