William E 'Bill' Sellers Funeral services for William Earl ‘Bill’ Sellers, 79, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Reverend Paul Read and Reverend R. E. Barclay will officiate. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sellers passed away April 17, 2007 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Bill was born June 24, 1927 in Beaumont, Texas to Louis Carroll Sellers and Alice Nancy Oglesbee Sellers. He was a long-time resident of Silsbee and an avid Silsbee Tiger fan. Bill had played on the football and basketball teams while attending SHS. He was also a loyal Texas Longhorn fan. Bill was a retired sales representative for Brach’s Candy. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Silsbee and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Patsy Hereford Sellers; children, Ted Sellers and wife Helen of Hitchcock, Mary Gallagher and husband Dale of Silsbee and Cindy Schwartz and husband Jay of Lufkin. He is also survived by his brother Edward Chapman and wife Ann of Nederland; grandchildren, Drew Sellers and wife Amber of Lumberton, Nikki Andrews and husband Mark of Houston, Will Gallagher and wife Courtney of Buna, Rebecca Gallagher of Silsbee, Melanie Schwartz and Victoria Schwartz of Lufkin; great grandchildren Austin, Alix and Adam Sellers of Lumberton and Emily and Nathan Andrews of Houston and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cindy I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My dad died in 1994 and my mom died in 2000. I do understand and share in your feeling of loss. It is hard, but God will walk you through this time of sorrow. Thank goodness He is with us everyday. My prayers are with you and your family.
